Paris Health Pass Protests Persist for 13th Straight Week
Approximately 1,000 demonstrators marched from Bercy to Place de Clichy in Paris on Saturday in an expression of their opposition to the government imposed health pass, or “pass sanitaire.” Saturday marked the 13th consecutive week of protests in the city surrounding the mandate.

The size of the demonstrations has decreased in recent weeks. During August, crowds as large as 200,000 marched throughout France. “There have been demonstrations since [July 17] but it is calm now and not as tense as before,” says Taoualit Amar, a local journalist in Paris.

Nouvelle journée de manifestation contre le #PasseSanitaire et la #vaccination obligatoire à #Paris. Comme lors des précédentes semaines, plusieurs cortèges sont prévus dans la capitale.
The crowds have been comprised of both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals and have manifested through a shared opposition to the health pass.
